AAF Analytical & Design Services: SAAF Monitoring Products

This section groups AAF’s corrosion and gas-phase monitoring hardware into two families: SAAF Reactivity Monitoring Coupons (RMCs) and SAAFShield Technology. They are meant for facilities that need to measure how aggressive the air is around sensitive equipment, or check how well a chemical media bed is holding up.

The RMC range includes metal and glass reactivity monitor coupons (392-801-001 and 392-801-000) and media sample coupons for SAAFCarb, SAAFCarb MA, SAAFCarb MA.HT, SAAFCarb MB and SAAFOxidant. Blended versions are listed too, such as SAAFBlend GP (50/50 mix) and SAAFBlend WS (33/33/33 mix). Part numbers fall in the 395-920 and 395-921 series, for example 395-921-200 and 395-920-002. The SAAFShield listings cover the system components: the Reading Unit (392-803-001), the Detecting Unit (392-803-002), copper, silver and gold crystal QCMs, RU-to-DU and CM-to-DU connection cables, and a 12V adaptor for the reading unit.
