Cartridge cleaning cone for filter elements with an internal diameter of 100 – 175 mm (3.9 – 6.9"). It clips onto the outlet of any Goyen GOCO nozzle and spreads the cleaning pulse evenly down the whole length of the element.

Why it matters on cartridges. Without a cone, the pulse never overcomes the normal filter differential near the top of the element, so the top blinds off while the bottom gets over-pressured. In Goyen’s test on a 240 mm ID cartridge, the cone held the developed pressure close to even along the element at about 4" Wg average, where the same system without one swung from negative at the top to roughly 15" Wg at the bottom. The result is lost filter area, a damaged membrane and shorter element life.

Fitting: snap the clip over the four legs of the cone, then snap the assembly over the nozzle outlet. When installed in the baghouse, the end of the cone should sit 30 to 80 mm (1.13" to 3.14") from the filter opening. To work out total assembly height, add H = 77 mm (3.03") to the nozzle length.

Not for gas turbine applications. Goyen specifically excludes the GOCO nozzle range from gas turbine service.
